will be 331 stroker powerful than ls1 bolt ons

I rented Milan Dragway with 45 cars. All Vettes and my Cobra. The LS1 cars were only running 13.4's-13.6's stock. Mildy modified LS1 Vettes were running 12.9's-13.2's. If the car hooks and is set up well, you can take it.

And why do LS1 guys say HCI is bolt on? They all say that in my local forum. Bolt on's are anything bolted on to the car without splitting the motor apart.

My best friends 98 camaro, runs 11.50's to 11.70's @ 114 with a cam and valve train upgrade, LS6 intake, full exhaust, built trans, 4200 converter, 3:73's and 15" MT DR's, and a custom tune. Not a lot done to it. LS1's are tough to beat with just a couple mods.

I hope my 92 LX runs mid 11's NA with the 347, because if Im even a 10th slower I wont hear the end of it. Of course when I put boost to it he's all done.

Id say spin the motor between 6200- 6500, lot of gear ( 4:10's minimum ) sticky tires with a suspension that works and that motor could get into the 11's

On paper a LS1 w/ Cams is faster then a 331 w/ H/C/I but it comes down to driving the car as well. Ive beaten LS1 Corvettes and supercharged 96-98 Mustangs so you never know.
