I just got done installing some 3-point seatbelts in my 67 and there's a bit of concern that because the strap touches my neck, in the event of a front end collision, I may lose my head (or at least crush my neck). So I wouldn't mind more opinions/input.

But, the strap does not go right across my neck like it looks like it would based on that photo. It just barely touches the left side of my neck. Pretty much all seatbelts do that to me because I'm short and I usually solve the problem by using belt adjusters which do a good job of positioning seatbelts just about right for me.
So, do you think I'd be safer with lap belts?
