Well I got an O/R H pipe for free and decided to bolt it up today.

Worked out ok. But it leaks around the collectors.

I was looking at getting a Catted X pipe and was wondering if they would pass emissions since they only have 2 cats instead of the stock 4 cats.

Any suggestions on brands would be great too. I have stock headers w/ flowmaster catback.

UPR is probably cheaper, and yes you will pass emissions. I have a high flow catted X and pass emissions with it. It has 2 cats.

Yes, it will pass the sniffer...and should be okay on a visual. But, the law technically says you can't change the number or position of cats.

Bassani catted x here. Never gone under the sniffer since there is a loophole in PA if you drive the car less than 5000 miles.

Actually Magnaflow is the only company that actually has a ARB number to go from 4 to 2 converters-

We are one of the very few exceptions to the law

So the Magnaflow will pass with out any worries-

well being that I am cheap I ordered the Catco Direct Fit H pipe. Later I did a little reasearch and found that it sucks.. So im calling Summit now to cancel the order.

As far as emissions goes I just have to pass the sniffer (kinda like a dyno)

The guys that do emissions here never do a visual. They dont even pop the hood.
