Fox Wilson Elbow And 90mm Tb With Strim For Street Duty?

Been looking at different intakes...wondering how the wilson 4150 elbow and 90mm throttle body would be on the street compared to my current setup...

Current combo

Tfs 11r 190s
Tfs r series upper/lower
60lbers
Bbk 70mm TB
Strim 12lbs
F303

Currently at 491rwhp with alot more available if the block would hold...

Im building a custom intercooler setup this winter and this would make it alot easier to flip the intake...not to mention getting to the valvetrain would be alot easier as well...my end goal is a 363 dart with 750-800rwhp ...street only...im doing this build in smaller stages as budget allows and i want to get the top end dialed in and the custom stuff built so when i get the dart i can swap it over and go...

Yeah i was referring to the turbo lol...how much hp you putting down? The si is supposed to be good up to 775...so if i need more hp ill have to upgrade. Aarons pieces look like great quality...been looking at those as well...i believe his fit under the stock hood? Im not sure if the wilson does...

Im just wondering if the elbow will produce a ton less torque on the street vs my r series?
 
You don't need a 90mm TB when you force the air through it, i'd goto a 75mm that's about it.

I know back in the day if you had a heavy duty S trim you could upgrade it to a T, but that was about it and that was a lonnnnnnnng time ago.
Don't think that applies anymore.

Can they upgrade my headunit to a ysi or need to buy a new one? Ill keep this until the dart is built but just so i know

I don't remember what the deal was with upgrading the units . I had such an early unit like number 36 according to Vortech that mine was not upgradable . Yours may be . You can definitely call and ask they will take care of you .

Yeah that is a 6061 elbow, the turbo ( if that is what you are asking) is Precision 76GTS

Makes more power than useable and looks like a stock 5 lug swap car

What lower are you running? I looked at the vic jr efi...power range is 3500-8500rpm it says...my r series is 2500- ...

I know i dont need the 90mm but since ill be most likely changing my intake...running 3.5" intercooler piping and getting a new TB...if it doesnt hurt performance then i may as well go bigger so in the future its there if i need it...i cant imagine it hurting performance?
 
Go with the 90mm. In test after test that I've seen, the 90mm makes more power when its mated to an intake that supports that size, like the TFS-R Box Upper.

I personally believe the narrative that flow with forced induction is substantially different than without is false. If a part flows more at a given atmospheric pressure, it'll also flow more at higher pressure. The only exceptions are when you're timing valves, hitting velocity limits, or doing resonance tuning, none of which applies to TB size selection.
