ok i have had the motor in and running for awhile and i go to check the oil one day and i see that the dipstick was bent. it took a lot of thinking before i realized that it was running in to the windage tray and i was too much of a dumb*** to cut it for clearance. now i can't seem to get it back in and im curious if there is an easier solution than pulling the motor and cutting the tray?

It is best just to op the pan off and clearance it properly however....
You may be able to twist the dipstick (so it looks like a drill bit), which will allow it to spiral/twist while you are pushing it in which may help it deflect off the tray instead of getting stuck.
Put the end of the dipstick in a vice and twist it using a pair of vicegrips, go slow....

I have the same problem. It wont go in easily but if I grab it right above the tube and force it, it will go in.

Same problem I had when I installed the Mac windage tray. 
I was able to force the dipstick to go down but I was not happy so I unhooked the mounts and raised the motor and removed the oil pan. I found that when I was forcing the dipstick it was actually being redirected at an angle and was not properly reading the oil level. The dipstick was hitting the windage tray so I took a die grinder and removed a little material and was able to get clearance. I only needed to grind a little on the windage tray and a little on the end of the main cap studs that came with the windage tray. I would be careful forcing the dip stick because it may be redirected and hit the rotating parts and also may not be accurate.
Either cap it off or do it right and remove the pan and make some clearance.
Next time I put an a windage tray I will check for clearance of the dipstick before the motor goes in.:
