I dont see anyone running these heads? Are they garbage? I am picking up a set that are ported and polished new valves 2.02/1.60, with 1.6 rr, studs and springs with a seat pressure of 135#'s. they were milled so the chambers are 63cc. along with 30 lb injectors, matching mass air meter, tube k and a-arms, tube gt-40 intake that has been ported to the heads for $1000.00. I think this is a steal. Right now my 87 gt has ported E'7s on it now and an explorer intake with stock cam. Will i see any performance gains from these heads? I plan putting a s-trim on by the end of the summer, i heard these heads work well with boost. Are these heads worth it?

A guy here in town use to run a set of them. On a 306 with a small cam and carb intake. The car hauled ass. I say go for it.

I've been running iron ones for awhile now and they give me respectable performance. Sounds like a good deal to me.

$1000 for just the heads and rockers is a fair price. I say go for it. The large runners will work well with your blower for sure.

I am not a fan of world products, and it's because I own a set of their 180 (170cc) iron heads. However, those heads you are looking at will be a VAST improvement over your ported E7's.

The problem i see is that i have a stock bottom end on my 87gt. The 2.02/1.60 valves will not work without piston notching and i have no idea how to do that or even where to start.

Piston notching isn't all that hard, but you will need the tools to remove your valve springs, and the correct isky piston notching tool.
Probably not worth the trouble, but i'd still buy all that stuff for a grand, maybe resell the heads.

Ya, that's still a really good deal.
The gt40 intake alone fetches upwards of $400 by itself.
