So the new welder has come in handy. A 10 pt cage in chrome moly would normally cost around 2k, then add the swing outs. I've got about 650 in it. Take some copper tubing, mock up what you want, and have a local chassis shop copy it.
Got me a new converter on it's way, tubes in for the new turbo kit. Go to the local track to work out bugs, then take the new family member up to a real track.

I don't have any pics, but this winter, I replaced my power steering gearbox, repainted the power steering pump, and I installed long tube headers. I still need to take it to an exhaust shop to have the h pipe installed and the whole thing welded up. Hopefully that will happen in the next couple of weeks as the spring thaw seems to be quickly approaching. Other than that I have been starting to accumulate parts to build another 351C. got the block, crank, heads, cam, rockers, timing chain, and some other misc. pieces. Still trying to decide if I am going to swtich to 4 speed in stead of the FMX when I do the new engine.

I pulled my engine after new years, its getting a new roller cam, porting the Vic Jr,new bearings, rings(from a flat cam a while back)Meizere 55 GPM electric water pump,7 qt Milodon oil pan,new clutch, lightened flywheel and some head work.
I hope to have it back soon so i can drop it in before Knotts.

It seems like every year this car gets about $3-5K in mods weather it needs ot or not.

Oh yes, we realy don´t need some modifications on our rides.
But it is the best way to drop our money out of the window.

I´m interested at a electric water pump. Is it streetable? How long did it last on a daily driven car? I use a polished edelbrock victor pump now. It costs nearly a electric waterpump. What did you mean iskwezm?

So far this winter I went from this disgraceful beast:

To this:

And finally to this fine mo-chine:

Its got a Crites glass hood and fenders covering the beastly 170 3spd at the moment. I have a rebuilt 5.0 H.O. with gt40 heads waiting to go in, along with a t5 and 9" that Ive yet to find. The front suspension is basically stock, but with shelby drop. Interior is done and waiting to go in, and bumpers are done also.

Wagon is killer! I'd love on with a nice 4.6 DOHC turbo motor But I'd be tickled to have one with any EFI motor!

My car has been off the road since January 25th 2006.... But it has gotten the following and will be started at the end of March for the first time.

351c shortblock with forged TRW pistons. Fully machined/balanced
Aussie 2v heads ported and flow a REAL good number
F246 Solid Cam
Harland Sharp roller rockers
New hardware from ARP
X-CELerator ported intake
Speed Demon 750 Carb
Swapped out the Turbo Mufflers for some 40 series Flowmasters 2.5"
Rear leafs and a rear sway
Mallory 29440 Coil to match the Digital 6 Plus
Electric water pump drive
Serpentine pulleys
P/S delete linkage
Took all the stereo stuff out except stock.
Fixed wiring and hid the engine bay light harness.
Moved battery back to trunk
mini starter
Tried a MKVIII fan but it didnt fit.
4.11 rear

I still need a C4 and a high stall converter, or a 4/5 speed swap. I can't decide and I don't have the cash at the moment. I will be trying to get that, finish the interior and paint the car within the next year. Hopefully I'll get it back together and drive it. I had nitrous on the car last year, but have removed it since the new motor should be faster than the old with nitrous. It will be getting another system , once I have the supporting safety features. The car should go 10.90's or faster on the 150 shot, but it'll take more. I need subframes, a cage, a transmission and a good set of tires/rims to 'finish' the performance side of things.

It's a never ending project that I hope to drive again shortly. Spring break is March 23rd to April 2nd. Need to button it up and take it out!
