wiring diagram needed, 1981 6 cyl. Mustang

At sometime, the under hood/ ignition switch wiring wiring was cut. A color diagram would work best... Is my only recourse EBAY?...and then who's reproduction is most accurate?..Mike

I don’t have 1981 in my pile of EVTMs, but the linked manual is what i would buy. There’s a couple 1981 mustang EVTM for around $20 shipped on eBay.

I only have 86-93 otherwise I’d post screen grabs of what you need. One day I’ll collect em all.

Looks like most of the underhood wiring is cut at the firewall...."Some" of the wiring was spliced and run outside the inner left front fender so as to be not visible with the hood up, in an attempt to hide the wiring??? There was an attempt to eliminate the ignition switch and install a push button in it's place..... Most of the vacuum lines are disconnected for some reason.... I'd guess a V8 was planned?.... The car is otherwise in remarkably good condition, otherwise

This is what you need. I used one for my '93 5.0 swap into a '54 Ford and thanks to this wiring diagram I was able to retain the factory fuel injection. Everytime I do a swap, I get one of these. These are what the factory techs used in the dealerships before everything went digital. It covers every circuit in your car!
