My 73' 351C will crank over but it wont start. It will just continue to crank over. Fuel is being delievered. The system is fully grounded. I have replaced the Alternator, Starter Solinoid, Points, Condenser, and Ignition Coil. Ive checked the system with a 12 Volt light gauge. Any other opinions is appreciated! :nonono:

yeah ignition switch also do you have a positive coming from your batt to your coil??? my 73 stang had that problem when i got it the guy who had it before me messed the wiring up and didnt have a positve from the batt to coil.... also do you have a ignition modual?? those will sometimes fail...

I set the point gap accordingly. I have no clue about that positive wire, i only have my primary from the distributor. It was the starter solinoid, but still wont fire up. im thinking its either off TDC timing in the distributor or as simple as some cracks in my rotar cap.

It turns out that it was a bad set of points and started right up after replacing them. I just have a parasitic loss off the battery when the car is on. Doing the whole 12 volt light on my wiring AGAIN, pain in the arse. Some simpler wiring diagrams other than Chiltons would be awsome, its a 1973 Grande with a 351C, send it to [email protected]
