would a gain anything with a powerpipe with a small blower?

alot of the powerpipes claim their gains on higher boost kits, like 8+ psi.

my vortech is putting out 5 on my engine. and does create alot more under hood heat. right next to their airbox setup.

i saw UPR's boost master pipe. it looks good. do you think i would see a power increase using that? gain a lb of boost like they claim? i do plan on running more boost later anyways.

Yep you can see between 1~3 psi of a increase.

is it just that much cooler of an air charge? that compressing that much denser air will make more boost?

i did notice that the blower gets HOT, just as hot as the engine if not hotter, and its right by that plastic airbox. i am sure some of the extreme heat gets to the filter.

Denser air plus the piping helps direct air flow better compaired to the plastic according style that most blowers come with.
