Wow Knight Rider really stunk

Just like the title states, I watched about 15 minutes and could not take anymore. Good looking car but oh man how bad the show sucked.
We were watching it and and the ppl in the room were asking why it could not outrun that little SUV in the mountains LOL:shrug:
What a joke, if I offended any of ya Sorry..... If someone has already posted this sorry!!!

This thread was started as a IMHO thread..........:D

I'm with ya on that one. I couldnt even finish watching the pilot. It's right up there with that really crappy bionic woman series that NBC tried to launch.

If the Knocking the outrun of the SUV was the only reason why you did not like the show. I will make a correction, Kit was not trying to outrun the SUV. He was clearly trying to ram the SUV and get the professor back. If you were watching, you could clearly see that once kit had his defense mechanism up he pulled ahead and stopped in front of the SUV which ended up totaling the truck.

As of now, I give the show a 7 out of 10.

I thought it was cool how he could change paint colors.
No I didn't watch much more after that, but from what I could tell it just was not that impressive.
From what I saw and keep in mind I did not watch a lot, anyway from what I saw the SUV was following him thru the mountains and then he was cut off by a truck but did not hit the truck. Then after that he sped up to about 500bagillion, trazillion, mozillion miles and hour to get somewhere, Why couldn't he just do that with the SUV and lose him, or was it supposibly planned that way to keep the SUV from continuing???? Also he didn't hit the truck did he, so they could of just moved and the SUV would of continued????
IMO from what I saw 3-10, they got that high because the car was cool looking and it could change color......:D

I think some of you may be getting a little confused. There were TWO chase scenes in the pilot involving SUV's. The first one against a Ford Edge was a little silly because the thing was keeping up so easily with KITT; the second one against a big honkin' GMC (Suburban, I think) was where the driver manually drove KITT sideways in front of it so the SUV T-boned 'em.

Whatever happened to that Turbo Boost button from the original where KITT would just jump over stuff? That would've come in handy on at least 2 or 3 occasions in that first episode. Unless they actually show some more episodes with more features, the new KITT seems to be a little bit stripped-down of options if all it can do is morph into a Mustang GT and make a goofy ricer towel-rack wing appear and disappear. (Still wondering why they didn't make the wing just pop up from the trunk, a-la Knight Rider 2000, instead of using the weird "morphing" effect.)

your young and we dont expect you to have any taste yet.
a full frontal scene or two would really bring that show alive.
a neked chic on top of KITT...nuff said

The first Knight Rider was my favorite show when I was 11 or 12 and I knew it was cheesy so I can relate to Ryan liking it being a teenager. I cant even watch the reruns cause I laugh at myself. I watched the whole thing and it was alright. I love KITTs gauges looks like all the pods were replaced with round LCD displays :nice: I am not giving up on it cause in normal GT500 mode KITT is a sweet looking car, even when he morohed into a Shelbt GT he looked great. The GM guys must be pissed :rlaugh: So I will give it a chance and watch it, it will be one of thoes "nuttins on so guess ill watch it"

You guys sound disappointed like you thought it was going to be ground breaking in the first place, we all knew it wasn’t going to be the greatest show in the world.
What do you expect out of a retread of an 80s show with a talking car? I only saw the last hour so I didn’t see the first chase with the Edge, but I thought it was more entertaining than most of those reality shows on TV, hell it was best thing I seen on NBC lately.

I dont even watch that much tv, I dont even have cable. I gotz teh old skool rabbit earz and on any given day I get two and a half channels so the only thing I make time to watch is king of the hill, two and a half men, and Lost(I go into zombie mode when that's on)
