Alright you 4.6 guys, Whats a salvage title convertible 01 roush stage 3 car worth?? I do not want to sell it but am thinking of buying it from my buddies ins. company and they want a ton for it wrecked. So in all you opinions what is a car like this worth repaired with damage history? 16k miles, and I am sure you guys already know the options of this car. BTW not wanting to sell this car just would like to know I am not paying to much for it.

I would check kbb and offer no more than half.

The problem is, you're effectively bidding against the salvage yards, and they usually get what they want. The car is worth 3 to 4 times it's value when parted out.
If you stand a chance at getting it from the insurance company, you'd better act fast, as they will commit the car to salvage very quickly. They don't leave these cars lying around for long...storage costs them money.
