Probably the wrong thing to post on a mustang site, but anyone have a chevy 350 lying around?

What a great weekend. Driving down I-5, the rod starts knocking. Then louder, and louder, and then sure enough, I threw it out. Thought I could limp it home.

The trail of oil leading to my truck when the tow truck dumped it.

This is actually a pretty small hole, I've seen bigger, but it was only going about 1500 rpm when it blew. That makes two vehicles down this weekend!!

Jeff, I may hit ya up on that. I havent decided whether I want to buy a crapper off craigslist and rebuild it, or get something thats already done. Depends on how much time I have coming up. I know I am not going to go with anything crazy, just a mild block with stock cam and heads, 9:1s, etc. I am more focused on spending money and time making the mustang better right now.

Shoot me a PM with what you have to work with (year of engine/truck, mods, etc) and I will put in a call to see what he has/can do. Also let me know what you want out of it, much easier to build it once than several times. He built a long block 350 carb to pan for a friend for little more than what most get for a short block.

The guy I work with has a 350 block, bored over, I think it has everything except for the accessories. He has no use for it.
