This is gonna be long. Feedback is appreciated. Probably more of a rant than anything.
Monday: Decided to SeaFoam my car. Went to a big vacant lot. Made a big smoke show. Let the white smoke die down, then turned off and started the car a few times. Left to drive home.
On the way home, I hit a big bump and broke an exhaust bolt. My muffler/muffler pipe came loose from the midpipe and started resting against my driveshaft. I took it easy for the next five minutes until home.
Tuesday: Went to fix the exhaust, overtightened the bolts and ripped the flange off of the BBK off-road H-pipe. Ordered a new off-road H-pipe from Summit. Decided while the car was down to take off my 70mm throttle body and put the stock piece back on. Could NOT get the 70mm throttle body off! Had to pull the upper intake and beat the 70mm throttle body with a hammer to get it loose. Replaced it with the stocker. Reinstalled the upper intake and throttle body. Set my TPS to .94.
Today: Installed Summit H-pipe. Went to fire car up, it wouldn't fire. Hookedup batter charger, fired and stalled right away. Turned key with pedal to the floor, car fired, and stalled. Tried this a few more times, I could keep the car running only by keeping the gas about halfway down...and it runs VERY choppy, feels out of balance. Feels like a big vacuum leak. Lots of backfires in the intake. White smoke is coming from the tailpipes, can't tell if this is just the oil in the new H-pipe (same thing happened when I installed the BBK) or SeaFoam. Okay, must be a vacuum leak, so I pulled the upper intake again and made sure everything was connected. It was. I torgued it back down, and double checked that everything is hooked up. It is. Tried to start car, same symptoms. Decided to try bypassing the Tweecer by setting it to 5, same symptoms. Gave up, here I am.
Any ideas? I worry that perhaps all the SeaFoam didn't come out, and is causing some kind of problem.
I'm really ****ing bummed about this.
