x-cam question

will a 306 with afr 165 heads, gt-40 intake, a-trim and an x-cam pass smog, ofcourse with a properly working exaust system, cats, smog pump, egr valve all the things for smog, also a good dyno tune, would it pass smog?

haha no not in cali they are strick as hell and that cam isnt street legal but i dont see why it wouldnt pass if they dont bust your nuts for #'s my cam is the same size as a x-cam but designed for boost but with a good tune and cats anything is possible......

there was another guy on one of the other tech sites who was having trouble passing with an x-cam. radical cams can sometimes have trouble with the sniffer test.

flyin, a blower cam usually will have no problem passing smog. The X cam is not really a choice cam to be running with a blower. Why not look into something like a blower cam? Youll get more power and more likely pass smog.

that is the set up that my dad has in his 89 lx already, and im not worried about the visual, just the test it self.
he is getting his car dyno tuned on friday, hope it goes good, ofcourse i cant be there o well.
