Is there any x-pipe with cats that will pass emissions besides stock?

Thanks.

Yeah...I'm not worried about gettin pulled over because I know I'd only get a catted X...and they at least got 2 on them. I'm just worried about emissions.

Anyone have an answer to this?

What should pass? the one with only two cats?

I was looking at the (I think it was Bassani) 2 cat x-pipe and i looked at the fine print and it said "for off-road use only"

Now I know you're thinking " you were looking at the wrong one, that was the off-road x-pipe" but actually the catted ones also say for off road purposes only.

Does anyone know of an x-pipe, better than stock, that will pass emissions?

the two that seem the best for passing emissions was the magnaflow x with cats and a pypes x-pipe with 5.9 obdII cats

Jay99:

Thanks for the links.

Any idea which would be the better choice? I really dont want to deal with not passing emissions, so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

EDIT: I see it says 49 state legal...which state is it not legal in? I couldn't find this info...

At first I thought, probably California, but it says something about it being legal there??

nothings legal in california unless you got the money to pay someone off. so yeah we're always the 50th state as far as the US is concerned. for me living in cali i am leaning more toward the magnaflows x but I would prefere to try the pypes

if you have cats, you haven't gone crazy on cams and your car's had a decent tune up, you'll pass the sniffer. if they do a visual (as in CA) you're screwed.

NYC - I had a 97 Cobra that passed even without Cats. I dropped the fuel pressure and added a bottle of "emission Pass" and I hit the highest limits...but still passed.

As for the High Flow cats. I've used them before and passed without any trouble. NYC is very strick with inspection.

Emissions

I have a Bassani catted X on my 1996 GT and I passed
emissions in Nevada. You should pass if you have cat's
on your mid pipe.
