X303 Cam

ok I have a 90 5.0, I alleady put 3.90 gears,, gt40/ford exployer heads and intake along with comp double valve springs,i looking to put a new cam in,,since this is a minor build is the xcam to much? any recommened cams would be helpfull

Hey man. Don't be a hater. All I can get away with in Cali is a B cam.

Not that the smog guy would pull apart the motor to check.

I personally would not do a X with your setup.

People here who know more about cams can lead you to a better one than me.

IMO, the stock cam isn't horrible for what it is. Anderson Ford Motorsports B-21 might be better for your setup than the X.

^^^this! No reason to go beyond one of these cams. The heads and intake won't be able to flow enough air to use anything bigger. These cams are a very good choice. Heck the N41 was designed specifically for gt40 heads.
