Just as stated. I will start with my two. I had a t-top car siting at my dads for sale. A guy wanted to test drive it so I drove over to meet him. Long story short he talks me out of the 89 I was driving. The second one was a year ago. I had built a 84 capri rs from spare parts I had laying around It had everything you could think of done to it. Fun as hell to drive. I found a 65 mustang for sale. I had always wanted a classic. We got to talking and ended up traiding cars. Worst decision of my life!!!! I miss my Capri. It wouldn't be so bad if he didnt part it out. Just enough to make you sick. Thats my story, let's hear yours.

miss my 83 mustang...it was **** brown but fun none the less to curise in...

and i already miss my SC...ran 100% only 40k on the rebuilt drivetrain 3.27 gear...hauled ass for a 3,800 pound car...miss it already only been gone for ehh...2 hours now

My first car ever. 1967 Mustang coupe. Silver with black stripes. 289 automatic. Black interior. Was built for the track but we put the interior and junk back in it after we bought it. Was a fast car. Barked the tires 1st and 2nd. Barked em upon putting into drive or reverse too. :hail2: I MISS THAT ****ING CAR! :( I was forced to sell it. I'd give up my '86 GT AND my '04 just to have it back.

I don't miss my Capri and will NEVER miss my Capri. That is one car I will die with. It will never be sold. EVER.

my first car which was a 70 chevelle...white with black stripes. that and my 87 t top GT. i wrecked it and had about a grand worth of body work i needed to do and ended up trading the car away for a (soon to find out) busted motor and v6 T5 tranny for the coupe i was building.

havent sold anything yet and im loving it. its been out of commission once or twice for maybe a day or so in the almost 3 years ive owned the girl. she takes care of me. i love my car. like frankenstang said, ill never sell it. it goes to the grave with me. as well as its behaving it seems like its happy putting up with me.

i may be getting a grand cherokee here pretty soon for school, i maybe could see myself selling that for a loaded v8 version once the income goes up.

foxrodder for life right here.

My 90 SuperCoupe, at least I wish I pulled the transmission out in favor of a stock replacement. That way I would've saved a bundle on the trans. for my Stang or could've sold it. It was worth more than the car, LOL.

My 1975 XB Falcon GT coupe, 351 Cleveland, top loader, 9" rear, factory 4 wheel discs in a four door sedan, it was a beast, (those wondering yeah like the cop cars in Mad Max)

That car had so much torque, factory 4 barrel, hood scoops like the 71/3 fastback mustangs.

Aussie cars rocked in the day......sigh

I've got 2...

1 is a '73 Buick Apollo GSX, exactly like this one:

2nd was a 1980 Dodge Challenger, also known as a Mitsubishi Gallant in Japan. There were VERY few of these cars over here, so few that it's unlikely that anyone's even seen one in person (i've only seen 2...the one i had and one in a junkyard). It looked exactly like the one in this add:

So far i don't regret getting rid of any of my 'stangs because i've traded them for better ones, and i don't see myself getting rid of the coupe any time soon.

There's LOTS of cars I regret having sold, but certainly the most regrettable sale I made was that of my first notchback. It was EXACTLY the same as the one I have, now - gray interior, 5-speed, 10-hole rims, etc. - except that it had WAY fewer miles (around 130k), still had a working heater and half-working A/C, and was painted black from the factory (whereas mine was painted by some idiot with Rustoleum and a roller... ;) ). Oh, and it was a factory 5-speed, whereas mine was an AOD-to-T5 conversion.

However, in spite of everything, my current notch feels a helluva lot faster, and I've got a lot more mods in it; the old one only had an off-road H-pipe, Flowmasters, and a K&N panel filter. If I could get it to stick on a launch, I could get better times than the first one, too. As it sits, my best in the old notch and the present notch have EXACTLY the same E/T, but different MPH's; my present notch trapped 98 MPH (noooooo traction with 4.10's), whereas my prior '89 notch only did something in the low 90's (92 MPH, IIRC, with stock 3.08's).

The old one also had WICKED wheel hop, even with new quads; however, shortly before I sold it, I slapped a set of 16" ponies on the old notch, and I wish ta' heck I could score another set of 'em for my present one ... but funds won't allow it for a long, long time... :(

Oh, and my old notch had lived its whole life on the Kansas side of KC, so working on EVERYTHING involved fighting rust. I dunno how many darned bolts I snapped off while working on that thing. My present notch has been in AZ its whole life, though, and doesn't have a speck of rust, ANYWHERE. :nice:

So, umm ... on second thought, I guess I don't miss it all that much. Just a shame I wasted so much money in between selling that one, buying/selling other cars in the years between, and then having to practically resurrect my current notch from the dead.

EDIT: The other day, I mentioned to Frankenstang that, whenever I get all rich and stuff someday, I'd probably replace the Notch with a '94-'95 GT or Cobra. She gave me a look like she was going to open the door and push me out of her car while we were still cruising down the highway.

....but you know I'd NEVER do that. Right? :)
