After almost a year and a half of my car not running after being taken apart to do a DIY turbo, I am just a drill and a tap away from having it back on the road. By that I mean the only thing I have left to do is drill and tap the oil pan and hook up the oil return line and its on the road. The wait is killing me, but I cannot find anyone with a tap that big and I am trying not to spend the 20-25 bucks it would prolly cost me to buy one since I am so fricken broke. Anyways, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I will get some up in the next day.
Until then, a little bit about the setup.
Motor: GT40 intake, milled E7s, Trick Flow stage 1 cam
Turbo stuff: Master power T-70, Turbonetics Evolution wastegate, eclipse bov, intercooler
Miscellaneous: 42 lb. injectors, meter, fox TB setup, intake spacer, fuel pressure regulator, 255 walbro, MSD ignition, Romac balancer, new water pump, Griffin radiator, Ford Motorsport valve covers, oil separator, battery relocated to trunk, wires hidden, and idk a bunch more stuff I can't remember.
Basically at first my plan was to just do the turbo kit thats it. I was gonna do only the absolute necessary supporting stuff and that was it. But as I got into it I thought this is stupid to do without kind of restoring as I go, so it became more of a turbo setup/restoration at the same time. Painted all the accessories, you guys know the rest. The plan is to keep it around 500rwhp to save the block and clutch, but in time when funds come, I would like to have the supporting block etc. to make around 650. We shall see.
Anways, I'll get pics soon.
