After almost a year and a half of my car not running after being taken apart to do a DIY turbo, I am just a drill and a tap away from having it back on the road. By that I mean the only thing I have left to do is drill and tap the oil pan and hook up the oil return line and its on the road. The wait is killing me, but I cannot find anyone with a tap that big and I am trying not to spend the 20-25 bucks it would prolly cost me to buy one since I am so fricken broke. Anyways, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I will get some up in the next day.

Until then, a little bit about the setup.
Motor: GT40 intake, milled E7s, Trick Flow stage 1 cam

Turbo stuff: Master power T-70, Turbonetics Evolution wastegate, eclipse bov, intercooler

Miscellaneous: 42 lb. injectors, meter, fox TB setup, intake spacer, fuel pressure regulator, 255 walbro, MSD ignition, Romac balancer, new water pump, Griffin radiator, Ford Motorsport valve covers, oil separator, battery relocated to trunk, wires hidden, and idk a bunch more stuff I can't remember.

Basically at first my plan was to just do the turbo kit thats it. I was gonna do only the absolute necessary supporting stuff and that was it. But as I got into it I thought this is stupid to do without kind of restoring as I go, so it became more of a turbo setup/restoration at the same time. Painted all the accessories, you guys know the rest. The plan is to keep it around 500rwhp to save the block and clutch, but in time when funds come, I would like to have the supporting block etc. to make around 650. We shall see.

Anways, I'll get pics soon.

If you just lived a hair closer...I've got the tap you need that you could borrow! :D

Ace is the place...I believe I picked mine up for ~$15.00

Good luck on finishing up! The season's getting late and snowfall is not far away...get movin man!

Ok, finally here are some pics. Before anyone says anything, yes I still need to put the water pump pulley on and of course the serp. belt. And yes, I know the plug wires look like crap, but I can't afford separators yet. Anyways, here they are, enjoy. Btw, my gf's camera sucks so the pics are pretty bad/dark.

I'm really looking into doing a turbo setup for my car this winter just like you did.. Would you mind to PLEASE send me the information on where you got the stuff, the prices, and any other info that you have? I'm looking to do the same type of setup, but the prices/sites would really help me out. Also any other type of info/pics/etc that you have would be great.

Thanks man. :hail2:

absolutely gorgeous, dude.

where's your MAF? on the pipe going to the intake mani, or on the hosing going to the cold side of the turbo?

so are you guys fabbing up the hotsides? if so, i may be interested in one in a few months.

The maf is in the passenger side fender. He made one other one earlier this summer and sold it and unless it sold, he still has another.
