Do you think that my Mustang is Totaled? Please Check the Pictures that I've attached

The insurance company wants to offer me $9,135 PLUS the Sales Tax for my Mustang with the "low mileage" that it's got on it. They said that they got this figure out of the NADA.
When I looked in the NADA I got a figure of $9,350. I told them that my car has leather seats and the Mach1 upgraded stereo system, which they did "NOT" consider when they gave me their figure. I told the lady at the insurance company that I want $9,350 PLUS the Sales Tax.
Right now, I am waiting for the lady that I spoke to at the insurance company to get back to me with an answer regarding the $9,350 that I want for my car.
According to insurance companies, and collision shops and the other 96% of people that say Yes on Stanget....it is totalled...and I agree 99%.
The 1% of why I say it is not totalled is because it can be fixed. Technically...it can be. But the reason they totalled it is because it isn't cost effective. The amount of parts and labor...it just isn't worth it.
In case anybody cares...They way you will have to go about fixing it is accquiring a new framerail...upper and lower...and section it in near or at the firewall. That passenger side rail is swayed over a lot! It may have even broken some parts on the engine.

thats the definition of a total loss. its not cost effective to repair it. it does not say that it cant be fixed.

You are right. It is totalled. I'm still waiting to get the check from the insurance company. I will be buying a brand new car when I get the money, but unfortunately it will not be the Mustang. I need a bigger family sized car. I'm going to buy the new 2008 Dodge Charger R/T with the R/T Performance package in it. It's a much larger car and it's a 4 door with plenty of interior room in it. I like the styling of the Charger R/T just like I like the styling of the Mustang.

The Dodge/Chrysler 3.5L engines are VERY reliable. I own a 300m with a 3.5L with bolt-ons that I have had for 7 years now with no engine problems what-so-ever. This is the same engine that is being used in the LX platform. The general concensus on the 300m and intrepid boards is the 3.5L is virtually bullet-proof. You are right about the Dodge/Chrysler Engines being very reliable. I have a friend of mine who owns a 1995 Chrysler Concorde with the 3.5 Liter engine which he bought when it was 5 years old. He's already put over 120,000 miles on the car and it's been trouble free. He still has the original engine and transmission in it.
In the past 3 weeks, I've been doing a lot of research and talking to a lot of people about the Dodge Charger vehicles. The Dodge Charger has excellent reviews and it is a very reliable and comfortable full size car with a lot of power. For the most part, the Charger is a trouble free vehicle. I also like the design and the styling a lot. And the interior looks really nice.
So, I ended up buying and ordering a brand new 2008 Dodge Charger R/T with 5.7 Liter V8 Hemi with the Road & Track Performance Package. I ended up paying $100 over the dealer invoice price for the car minus whatever rebate will exist at the time of delivery. Overall, I love the Charger. The car is fully loaded and it comes with Performance Seats, Performance Steering, Performance Exhaust, Performance Suspension, 20" inch Chrome Clad Wheels and tires, Front and Rear Spoiler, and the interior is loaded. My Charger will have an extra 10hp than the regular R/T because of the Road & Track Performance Package that I ordered with it. It will have 350hp and 390 ft/lbs of torque which is plenty of power and torque for a 4.000 lb full sized American muscle car.
The only things that I didn't want to get it with is the Navigation System and the Sunroof. Other than that, the vehicle is fully loaded.
At this point in time, I don't care very much about whether or not my Charger R/T is going to beat a Mustang GT in a race. I am more concerned about safety and about having more interior space. I also need to have a full size car and the Charger R/T is very roomy.

Yes it was. The MSRP for the Dodge Charger R/T with the Road & Track Performance Package and with the Popular Equipment Group Options that I got was $37,150. But I did NOT pay the MSRP Sticker Price for it. I only paid $100 over the invoice price which was $34,972. I will also be getting a $3,000 Cash Rebate on the vehicle, so the price will go down further to $31,972 + Sales Tax & Title.
So, all in all I got over $5,178 OFF the MSRP Sticker Price with all the Discounts and the Cash Rebate.
I think that I got an excellent deal considering that I purchased a full sized fully loaded American muscle car that has 350hp and 390ft./lbs. of torque. What I basically bought is a Dodge Charger Daytona "without" the Daytona Decals. My vehicle has the same exact performance options that the Daytona has, except my vehicle does not have the Daytona striping and the Daytona hood decal. But everything else on it is exactly just like the Daytona.

Not yet. I special ordered it from Dodge. It takes about 6 weeks for delivery.
My Charger R/T with the Road & Track Performance Package is exactly the same color (TorRed) and it will look exactly the same just like the car that I've attached in the link below. Except that mine does NOT have a sunroof. I did not want to get the sunroof option.:

That's the BEST color to get the Charger R/T with the Road & Track Performance Package in. Red is the best color for an American muscle car. I love that color.
