I am getting ready to buy new rims and tires for my car. it's a 02 gt vert. I am wanting to pick up a set of 03 cobra's. but I am not sure what size to go with on the rear. I want to fill the gap in the rear but I also do not want them to look too big. I was thinking 17x10.5 with 315/35's but don't know for sure. I have a set of pro kit springs that will also be going on it. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could post up some pics. of this size rim and tire combo and maybe even a 17x9 with 285's or something. thanks for the help.

Here's some pics I took of one of our club member's cars with 17x9/17x10.5 setup running 275 fronts and 315 rears. It looks badass!

However, if it were me, I would go with the 18" 03/04 Cobra wheels in 9" and 10" configuration. They look amazing!

Just curious....but both those stangs are lowered right??

I'm Kinda curious as to the difference in fender Gap with a lowered vs non lowered stang and the 9/10.5 rims with 315's on the back. really trying to decided myself what look to go for. Not sure if i want to lower the stang or not, but i do want that tire setup.

sorry about hijacking the thread, anyone else got some pics of there wheels??

Anyways Sweet cars!!

Yes, both of those are lowered. The Torch Red vert is on Steeda Sport springs. Not sure what the Silver car is running. Here are some pic of my non-lowered Bullitt with 18x9/18x10 with 265/35 and 285/35. I know they're not Cobras, but they should give you an idea. But, keep in mind, the Bullitt comes from the factory 3/4" lower than a GT. Putting in the H&R Sport Springs sometime next week.
