After a few delays and waiting to get all the parts the Mustang is finally going into the shop today for the new parts install  Here is a list of everything going on.

Trick Flow R intake (351W)

1" spacer

Ed Curtis FTI Camshaft

LSX Valve springs

Camshaft Thrust Plate

Abaco 97MM Mass air meter (arriving tomorrow)

C&L True flow tube

#36lb Injectors

Autolite Spark Plugs

New cap & rotor

mitstomuto 2 core aluminum radiator

Ford Racing black powder coated tall valve covers

Double roller timing chain

New fuel filter and Transmission fluid

It should be done in about two weeks and then its off to the dyno for some new numbers and a tune then its back to the track to see what improvements I can make w/the new combo :nice:

I am very curious how well it does! I am in the same boat in a way as u. I added 205cc AFR's, MSD6a, 42# inj. BTW I think u should have gotten a 98mm MAF instead. (JK)! LOL I had to say it! :D

:p

Id like to see your #'s as well

Now that should wake the car up! How high do you plan to spin it?

Not to sure paul, as High as I can :D I'll see if its still making any power past 6,000 RPM's or not when I get it to the dyno. The way it is now its falling flat on its face by the end of the 1/4, Im pretty sure the Cobra intake is choking out in the upper RPM's due to the fact that the AFR 185's want to keep pulling but cant. I dont think the head/Intake combo was the best match. The FTI Camshaft was designed to pull along w/ the AFR 185's and the Trick flow R.

Anyone looking for a Crower 15512 Camshaft or a 90MM Lighting mass air meter send me a PM, they are for sale as soon as it comes off the car. The intake has some people that want it, if they back out its on the table once again.

Forgot about the 1" spacer, added that in as well.

PSS: Also will be selling the #24's

Sounds good. I do have one suggestion and that would be to ditch the C&L tube as its going to be way smaller in diameter than the MAF and more than likely your t-body. Just a thought, as I have seen those tubes upclose and wouldnt bother with it. Just fab up your own w/ 4" tubing.

I might do that if its to much of a problem.

Make sure you give me a heads up for dyno time... I wanna ride in that bad boy...should be fun tuning it...:nice:
Ypu talk to Pete at all on the tune??

Chris is doing the install at the shop he works at www.portlandtint.com They also do automotive accessories/installs. He was the one that used to have the white 91LX w/ the Turbo.

I'll deff let you know when I go to concord.

Sweet...That White Fox was fine...He still have it?? I spent alot of time this Winter hunting for a White LX to do up...

You having a chip put in??

Yeah Im going to have them put in a chip. Might as well have the combo tuned right since Ive spent a lot to put this together.

No he sold the LX a few years ago, It mad Modified Mustang Magazine right after that. Its out west now, Ohio I believe or some place close to it.

I had them do my 95 GT w/ the Paxton Novi 2000 on it. It was not modded that much so I didnt see any big gains b/c the stock heads are pretty restrective but it idled much better then before.

Chris does not have anything right now, I know he wants to get another stang I just dont know when. My friend Mike that had the 03 10 Anniversary Cobra also sold his, hes now got a SRT8 Jeep Cherokee. The only ones of us left w/ Mustangs is Bryan who's got the 93 GT with the HP Turbo, Larry w/ the 96 Cobra w/ the Vortech and Mike down in FL w/ the 2001 Cobra w/ the KB. Everyone else has since sold them over the years for various reasons.

Update.

New camshaft is in :nice:

As some of you may know my times at the track had been slower this yr, went from a 12.8 last fall to a 13.4 so far this year. Anyway he said he found a fuel leak by one of the fittings ( I though it was an injector that I had fixed b/c it did not smell like fuel anymore after I fixed it) and he said there were some lose lower intake bolts. I wonder if those things could have contributed to my slower times  Anyway the process is going along well and if it continues I could have it back next week.

Also said the coolant looked like mud, no wonder why it seemed to be hotter lately.

Haha I will, cant wait to see some dyno #'s myself. Im going in the shop in a few hrs to drop off the DBX 97MM Meter. I'll snap a few pics just b/c Id eventually like to make a video of the build process.

Also I just remembered that I had some stop leak dumped into the radiator(may have been why the coolent looked like mud) b/c it sprung a leak not long after I picked it up when I bought it. Not a good thing to have happen when your leaving at 6AM the next morn back to Maine from FL so I got some of that stop leak stuff and I have to say it worked really well. Although I dont trust a mended radiator(although its been problem free for over a year now) hence the reason for upgrading to the 2 core aluminum
