Infamous 3.73's or 4.10 question

I've taken 1000 + mile road trips with my 4.10s doing 80-85 MPH for extended periods.

Did I mention I averaged 25 MPG even through the mountains?:D

My exhaust is also not exactly quiet.

+1

4.10's are perfect for a daily driver. Yes, I agree that things change with a power adder but they are awesome N/A. I have also driven long trips with 4.10's and frequently do so and I still love them.

Well i don't do alot of highway driving just a trip every other weekend, otherwise everything else is around town going about 45 stop light to stop light. But i think i am going to go with the 3.73's for the overall driveability and get an aluminum driveshaft to compensate for not going with the 4.10's

that sounds like an awesome plan to me!

Driveability? 4.10's are so driveable its not even funny. More so than the 3.27's. 5th gear turns into something useable, before it was basically a highway only gear. I love the 4.10's on the highway, power is there when you want it and I didnt notice ANY drop in fuel economy. There are more than enough people on these boards who drive their mustang every day with 4.10's and no complaints.

Everyone wants something different with their car, but please dont call 4.10's a lesser driveable gear vs 3.73's. Its comments like this that almost scared me out of 4.10's, but I listened and trusted what everyone else was saying and I have been more than happy.
