I have an alum. radiator that measures 2 1/8" wide at the bottom. My stock rubber mounts, well, one is missing and the other is dry rott. Does anyone know if the stock lower mounts will work on an after market alum. radiator and if so, where can I get new ones? If they don't or won't work what did some of you guys do to fix this? I have searched and have failed. The fail boat has left port and probably heading to Somalia.

Thanks,

p.s. I heard that f-150 lower mounts might work. Must be a bit wider.

i finally found replacement lower radiator supports at the local junk yard. im pretty sure stock mounts will work how ever i only have a stock replacement aluminium rad but where it rests on the mounts is fairly close to 2 1/4.

call cj's pony parts. They are great people and can help you out. They have a pretty user friendly website too. God Bless all men and women serving our nation in the U.S. military!!!

You could always be ghettolicious like me and just take an old radiator hose, cut about a 2" section of it, slice it in half, and glue the halves together and just lay it there under the radiator. It's just rubber acting as a cushion - it doesn't have to look pretty to be functional, it's down where nobody can see it anyhow, and once you clamp the radiator down with the top brackets, it ain't going anywhere.

Awesome find!! Thanks. Thats just what I was looking for. I search in the same companies catalog. Must be an older one. The part numbers didn't exist anymore and I tried on the web site. No luck soooo thanks again.
