New suspension in the way, lose the side exhaust?

I'm trying not to mess up the side-exit kit as two people are already asking me if im going to sell it.

Why not just sell the whole catback as a kit, & get a custom Borla stinger catback made with dumps?
That's my #1 prefrence. But i cant find borla stingers ANYWHERE and I work at a mustang parts place.

Think these may be them based on the reading i've been doing, could just get them through work.

But i've been looking at youtube vids of stingers on 2V's and they aren't as awesome as i remember. Gah, may just have to cut the pipe off at the muffler and put on a new mounting point.

Chris, couldnt you do fabricate something like this. I think it would look real nice on your car.

can u weld/fab yourself? you could take some exhaust pipe and flatten/widen where it needs to go under the subframes to give u some clearance
The problem isn't up and down (well maybe for sub frames) it needs to go forward to clear the LCA's. Also, in that pic those are just the tips, the pipes arent that shape.

I want to thank all the peeps that encouraged me to keep the side exits, it really wouldn't be CobraRed's stang w/out em. I guess spintech sub frames it is when i do the engine build. And to the haters, suck it:fairyfight: (jk, i love you guys).
Polished the tips then the pipes were recut.
Took a chunk out of the after muffler bit and brought it forawrd
New clearance:
Sits now:

oo i didnt realize u didnt have subframes. i was thinking you couldnt go forward because of subframes.

I can fit Spintech subframes in there - it just wont be l33t. And it probably sounded better because it was exiting so much closerBoo, no subframes
BTW, when I put the PHB on my old car, I simply removed the piping from the muffler back from the Bassani's. There was no increase in odor in the cabin, and it actually got a bit quieter until I got on it. I liked the sound without the pipes better than with the pipes.
. I wasn't worried about odor either, im used to the tips being right below my window.

Initially, I had the pipe from the muffler pointing straight back (where I removed the over axle part of the piping). I loved it then. For some reason, I had some turndown tips installed, and it made it sound horrible. It also began to drone, so I removed them the next day.

Keep the side exhaust man , there's got to be a way to make it work. You may check out Dr.Gas they've got some different styles of tubing that may work for you. I just hope I don't run into this with my side exhaust. BTW , I didn't know spintech made SFC's ?
