Edelbrock vs. Ford Racing Supercharger

I'm looking to add some reliable horsepower to my 2008 GT.
Has anyone installed an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger on their GT? If so, what is your opinion? It doesn't have much boost but it claims to be very efficient and I'm sure the tune is conservative.
Has anyone installed the Ford Racing M-6066-MGT550 supercharger? Opinions on it? It's probably the most likely install to have the least modifications so it can be removed if I or another owner wanted to. Also, the included tune is probably conservative as well.
Lastly, does anybody have a link to the installation instructions for the Ford Racing model I mentioned? I would like to see what kind of hacking is involved.
All input is appreciated.
Thanks

I have an E-Force on my 2009. Installed it myself. I am running a Brenspeed Stage 1 kit, which uses a 3.5" pulley (7-9 lbs boost). I am using GT500 fuel pumps also. Pulls like a freight train, Its been on for over 20k miles and 2 weeks ago just dyno'ed at 474.55 rwhp, 434 rwtq (I do have detroit rocker cams and kooks headers too). 20 mpg average. I love it. I don't know anything about the Ford Racing Whipples but I am sure they are great too.

Thanks for the info. They both look like good kits. The Edelbrock installation instructions looks like there's a bit of wire splicing and cutting/grinding, no big deal, but I'm still looking for the Ford Racing instructions to compare. I would still like the option for me or the next owner (if there is one) to return the car to stock. I'm not looking for huge HP at the track, actually it's not likely the car will see the track more than once a year. I'm looking for reliable hardware, conservative tune, minimal hacking of the car, and of course a little wow factor under the hood.

I don't think you'll go wrong with either kit. They'll both make gobs of horsepower and absurd amounts of low end torque. Although I think the TVS design of the Edelbrock kit is probably the better charger, I think it's "tacky" the way they plaster their moniker all over everything on the kit. For that reason alone, I'd probably go with the Kenne Bell.

I agree that Edelbrock pastes their name all over the top of the blower and engine covers.
Edelbrock had been good to me with small block Chevy, big block Chevy, big block Pontiac, and even AMC (Jeep), but this little (4.6) Mustang engine is what I have now. BTW, never had a blower on any of the previously mentioned engines.
Thanks again for all the input!
