92 Mustang Popping Hesitation

Gonna get codes today and let y'all know not going carb got to much in the harness it's a complete racing harness to o2 sensors to computer i have no salt and pepper shakers either

Who made the harness?

The problem with aftermarket harnesses is they tend to remove wires that are absolutely necessary. Probably the case with the VSS here which means you may need to add the wires.

67 - NSS circuit, possible wiring issue
81 - secondary air injection - smog deleted no big deal
82 - secondary air injection - smog deleted no big deal
85 - charcoal canister (assuming it's been deleted)
84 - EGR vac regulator - assume deleted
29 - No VSS signal - needed for Mass Air computer
34 - EGR valve
41 - O2 sensor
91 - O2 sensor

With that list, the ones I'd want to tackle first are 67, 29 and the 41/91.

The EGR ones will disable the function in the computer and the smog ones don't affect how the car runs. I'd probably check to see if the charcoal canister vent line from the gas tank is vented to a safe spot.

Ford racing harness but the same codes came up with the old harness that's when I replaced the o2 sensors

Just for curiosity sake: Does your car run fine and then while driving the car loads up and starts popping and potentially backfiring? Then randomly clears out and does it again intermittently?

Is the car a stick or auto?

Also are your O2 sensor 3pin or 4pin?

Sometimes runs fine than all of a sudden you feel it like there's a trailer on the back and then starts popping and losing power slowing down I have a gauge on my fuel rail and answering about 30 want to bump it jumped down to about 24

You forgot to crap? Not good!:stick:
Now seriously, check your fuel pressure, should be 30+ lbs at idle with vacuum and 42 ish with vacume line unplugged.
I think you said you replaced fuel pressure regulator, is it adjustable?

Ya is adjustable it sets at 32 and 39 unplugged

Must missed but you never said if it was auto or manual trans. If its auto then the NSS should be jumpered, if its manual and you can start it without the clutch pushed in. Then the NSS either needs to be hooked up and or jumped.

The reason I ask about the trans is bc on our cars the O2s are specific to the trans. I know you said its an all inclusive Ford Racing harness but Im curious to know how the harness distinguishes between the two. Might be a question for Ford

Below is talking about my similar issue.
