Things may be looking up for me and Robby here soon. Money may loosen up. It really will be a driver this summer!

Work has been almost disastrously slow the past six months, working on commission during those times is challenging.

I'm eager (to say the least) to get him in the garage.

I had to strip the left hand side drip rail moulding. It lifted when I was painting it. It is apparently a replacement part from somewhere in the car's past. It had unsanded chrome underneath the black on it. Oh well, it's stripped and sanded now!

I also got after one of the rocker mouldings. It was pretty dinged up. I hammered the dents fairly flat, sanded down the chrome surface and will do the body work on it next Monday. Then it'll get etch and primer.

You just need a snowstorm or two. You'll have plenty of work then

I think we need start a new thread. This thread will contain the play-list that we'll make Dave listen to when it comes time to sanding this bad boy. :D
I'll contribute Gilbert O Sullivan...(Dave liked this one best while he was painting my car)

It's the least I can do Dave,...........to provide you w/ this catchy little diddy that you can whistle to while you work.

You know when something is hot, and you know you shouldn't touch it...but you do...and then you go Ouch! WTF! WHY DID I DO THAT? I feel that way right now. I knew I should not in any way shape or form click the play button on that youtube song...but noooooooo, I just had to do it! Now I'm whistling that frigging song.....I need some AC/DC to wash out my ears.....

Yeah Chris, tell me about it!

Mike and I were working on the monster and Mike was playing some music while we were in his basement.

My ears ring non-stop, they have since a small incident while i was in the Army 30 some odd years ago. I need to have an offset of somesorts.

So we're listening to some decent '70's tunes while working away on the GM (Ironic initials there Mike) and the next tune comes on......I started smiling a bit, then a bit more, then i started chuckling. Mike sees me and asks what's up? I tell him nothing at all. Then I start bobbing to the left and right while sanding and singing, "Oh Claire...."

Ironically (again), it's a fond memory of working with Mike. In spite of the silly political stuff, Mike really is an enjoyable person to hang out with.
