I just caught up to your thread, man. Turbo kits take a lot if work and a lot of supporting parts. Trust me I know. Putting that motor in will allow you to buy parts over time. Upgrade the fuel system and injectors. Even get a ECU like Megasquirt to get your fingers wet tuning the basic motor before the turbo.

The choking point for ford motors has always been on the exhaust side. A little porting there goes a long way. That block should be good for a little north of 700hp...great foundation. Hope everything checks out at the machine shop.

I am hoping to get away with honing the cylinder walls but I have a feeling I will not be that lucky. I would like some opinions on this intake as well:

I would rather have the satin (not a big chrome fan). I want to buy the trick flow but lots of money that is not in budget. I also though about just buying a lower:

But not sure which upper to go with it. Sorry for all of the questions. My family is all GM people and I don't know anyone around here that would help. Thanks you for all of the advice so far.

GM guys suck. Sick of hearing LS swap this and that. It takes zero talent to make a Chevy fast. Can't say the same about a 9.5 deck. Yeah the Ford may be more expensive (marginally) but you have the bragging rights of not being the normal Chevy fan boy.

WOW! I hope to not have that much in the whole car at the end of this swap. Only time will tell. Still kind of thinking about ditching the 351 and going turbo.:bang:
ha, that's just the motor.... add the trans, all the other parts to complete the engine, plus an original 38,000 mile 95 Cobra roller, fully caged with totally done suspension and you don't want to know!!!
