Alrighty then,...It's past the point of no return.
First to address the few that have concerns that I will bring the bedroom above falling down on my head.
This was a basement before it was a garage. The previous owner added the partition wall to divide the space so that her son could have a dedicated space to live in while he went to college..She created a living space, added a bathroom,..and a Mitsubishi room AC/Heat pump.
Now I don't know what kind of car ol dude parked in that single garage while he was going to college, but I can tell you this:
It wasn't the Monster.
When you put the Monster in there, there maybe an extra foot front to back....
But that was before 7:30 PM June 22, 2017.
Now,...it's a little longer.
Now I'm not sure what I want to do here,..I can either put up another wall deeper in, or I can just make the work and storage benches be the dividing partition. The garage door is insulated, so it really doesn't get hot down there....(when the garage door is closed) But it'll be a beast down there if I was to open the door and work in/out like I typically do. However, If I give myself enough room to work inside,.....I won't need to open the damn door.
The rest of the space is typical man cave.
Big ten inch 2 way pro audio speakers w/ built in 600 watt class D amplification, ( they play Gilbert O sullivan very loudly)..A 46" UHD TV, A small refrigerator/freezer for libation storage,..All that's missing is a couch, and my Herman Miller Eames lounge chair..
(look that one up and see what it is)
So whadya think?..... a wall or a bench?
