I need to pick up a side job doing something. I am having to save for engine/trans mounts and a few new sensors. Speaking of sensors, anyone have a good source for Motorcraft sensors? Not sure my dealer keeps stuff for an '89.
What happened to the last side job you had? I thought you said that you landed a gig working the corner of 4th and main in Downtown Des moines, offering straight sex to the gheys?

Well ya see, I did, but the gas mileage I get in the Durango was killing my profit. Pure joy wasnt enough to pay the bills.

I am shocked on how y'all will derail a thread around here:eek:.

Anywho......Today i got the new larger storage unit.

What does this mean in my shallow pathetic little life you may wonder? Well, let me just tell you.....

That means I move the blue car stuff over to the new unit and maybe this coming weekend move the ACTUAL blue car into it!!

Though, realistically, it'll be the following Saturday.

Wednesday after work I go give those pretty $100 bills to the yard owner for the sc engine. At that stage I'll setup a realistic time table to yank that beautiful little blown V6 out and put it in my garage.

I've already asked the yard owner about picking up the blue car on a Saturday, he's for it.

I was thinking about just getting a tow truck driver to get it. Then I thought I need to take it to a car wash before the storage unit. I have a bunch of friends that have volunteered to help me move it, nice group of friends.

Mouse sht is soon to be an unknown in my blue beauty! Dang! This is getting exciting for me!

Big day, I paid for the sc engine.

From this t-bird. The yard owner will get out there in the next few days to cut out the trees and other weeds land locking the bird in. BTW, it's seats are in spectacular condition. Maybe sc seats in the blue car?:chin

While there at the yard i threw the ten holes on the blue car. You want to know why? Because this Saturday at roughly 10:00 AM the blue car will leave the yard finally!!!:banana::banana:Isn't it beautiful!:nice:

I have the people lined up, the trailer, and the yard owner will be there to let us in.

Both front wheels were locked up, btw. The brake pads had fused to the rotors. So I whipped the calipers off with a little motivation from a pry bar and took the pads off. Oddly the car must have had a brake job 16 years ago right before it came to the yard, they look new in thickness.

Today I removed the tarp to try to dry it out a little.

On the way to it's new home we will stop by a nice car wash and i'll blast the rat crap out of there and give it a mild scrubbing too.

Well, I'd have to watch my ass through Ohio, Indiana, and part of Illinois... Soon as I hit Missouri, I can open it up a little.

Let's see :chin
