Fox Free (for now)

I had a katana 600 ( first bike...very reliable and simple but uncool ), ninja zx7, cbr f3, and a gsxr 750,...dont know if the ninja 250 would even count...it was one small notch above a moped.

The days of bikes are over for me....for now at least.

I’m going to look at this tomorrow. Not a fox, but it has 5.0 HO/T5 drive train. Needs work, $750. I find it hilarious!

I think the engine is hurt and needs repair or replacement. Has ac, ps,etc. could be good for a laugh or two...

There is a guy on this forum by the name of @Michael Yount. Used to be a regular. He's done [all] the Volvo 5oh stuff.

Sometimes he pops up. You should ping him.

Thanks Noobz! Let me see what this car is all about and we’ll go from there. It looks fairly solid, paint’s a little faded and needs a grille, small stuff like that. I may just buy an explorer motor to drop in it If I can find one with less that a million miles on it. O.o

Pickup me up a set of aluminum heads while you're out tooling around. I'm considering doing some shade tree stuff on the 89 and while I plot and scheme about the 86. Oh... I'm building a house BTW. A garage is going in with it.

Hey man, congrats on the house! Look at the size of the garage and double it. Seriously.

This dude that has the car owns a shop in Alvin, TX called Apex Racing. They had a lot of really cool stuff there- tons of SCCA cars. A lot of porsche, VW, and vintage European stuff like Triumph spitfires. The had a widebody 240z they were building, half a dozen late model vettes, a Studebaker Hawk they were caging to go race the Chihuahua 1000 (or is it 500?) with... And, get this, AN AUSSIE 351 GT FALCON!.... (holy smokes!) and I was so geeked out by it all I took not a single freaking picture. Not one. LOL...

However, he did tell me he had a SBF NASCAR engine with Yates Heads and a crate full of new parts to go with it. Intakes, rockers, valves, springs, cranks rods pistons, the works. He did text pics of that to me after I left. He said he’d sell it all really cheap. I didn’t even ask how much.

Pm if you want his number.

That would be a pretty cool project if it's not a rust bucket.
Digging the 5 lug ROHs.

Nailed it. I had to pass, it had holes all around the sunroof. Too bad, it would have been neat, but I’m done fixing rust holes. My son’s car broke me of that.
