Well today was another one of those days..
Checked my email, and boom! Another 750 just drops in my lap from the boys at Bavarian Motor Works.
So,....what to do with that money..
I need a 50mm waste gate, and 1000 cc injectors....

Not anymore.

Both purchases made on ebay today
The injectors are supposed to be brand new Bosch 1000cc pieces.6 of them for 330..shipped.
The waste gate is listed as a Turbo-Smart 50mm piece with a 14psi spring. It looked new, but the ad says " like new". It was priced for a like new piece too. 195.00. We'll have to wait-and-see on that piece...the jury's still out.
I'll probably end up changing the spring on that, but at least it's not Chinese crap.
( like the rest of the stuff that I've purchased here lately)
The new exhaust manifold fits way better than the first one did, the intake will be here on friday, and it looks good. Hopefully itll be as good as it looks.
All in all, the 2 j is the way

For me.

I will send you the guys info . Do yourself a favor with those cheap eBay injectors . Send them to Eric Durr . He will flow test them and make sure they flow what they should and have even distribution . It’s 75 bucks to flow , clean , o ring and change baskets With shipping back . You don’t need all of that but those eBay injectors aren’t known to be reliable and sometimes are fakes of the Bosch units .

I just looked back at the pics. The injector has a ford part number on its side.
( 6m8g-ba) it also has fic 1000.
On one hand, that ford part number is listed as a stock injector for a Mazda application, on the other hand he's listing flow stats as having flowed the injectors to 1000 cc at 43.5 psi.

I’m only saying it from experience and seeing some things . For 75 bucks it’s cheap insurance in my opinion.

I'm gonna give him one chance. He responded, says he flow checks his injectors to make sure that they are all matched, and he has a fairly extensive feedback score with 98% positive.
I'll spend the 75 dollars to have them checked though.
