poured myself a glass tonight for my 40th bday.

I’ve had a lot of Scotch, but i can honestly say this is by far my favorite. It was very smooth and went down too easy. Had to convince myself to cork the bottle and save it for special occasions.

but yeah....it was gooooood.

No picture, but I had a good hefeweizen tonight with dinner from 1623 Brewing. Never heard of it before and this has been the only time so far that I've seen it. I liked it; good taste, had a good cloudiness to it...solid "A" beer.

Edit: Did some digging on 1623 Brewing. Looks like they're a local-ish (to me) brewery, located in Eldersburg, MD (just west of Baltimore). Its about an hour from me. Did not know that.

Tried this one tonight. It’s more fruit than hops. I tend to like the more hoppy IPA’s even if they have the fruit taste. This one just didn’t have the bite of bitterness I like.

I had another local brew at the Latin kitchen around the corner from the house last night. This one was from Greenspring Brewing out here in Chesapeake Beach. Didn't know about them either. This was a honey wheat lager; I liked it...would order again!

I barely do liquor anymore. I tend to get unruly on for some reason. I can get piss drunk on beer but I dont get out-of-hand.

With that being said, I LOVEEEEE a nice cold Corona with lime and salt

NE IPAs shouldn't be bitter. That's part of their appeal, all of the hop flavor, but with a pillow-y mouthfeel and without a hop bite.

Anyone else an IPA head? Some Delicious IPA by Stone Brewing at the moment.. Got the variety pack, they're all great. Also, I like what Stone did with the latest packaging, some crazy art, but perfectly fitting to each beer

I love the original Stone IPA. West coast.... all hops, no fruit!
Ive come to appreciate the fruity east coast IPA’s, but Stone was my first favorite!
And that’s a pretty cool picture you took there!
