California Performance Transmissions (aka Art Carr) can provide a 141 tooth flexplate with 50 oz. balance. It is a special order and price was around $300 last I heard. You will have to call them direct at (714) 901-3777 to place an order. I also have a spare out in the garage I may be willing to let go.

Headed off tomorrow to pick up a 1990 engine from an F150. Long block that seems to be in good shape . I wanted to get an HO but this was close by and the right price .

So far I have an original bell housing v8 . Working on a flex plate , now I'm wondering about a torque converter that seems rare. Any ideas ?

You need to hook up with someone that is parting out a V8 car or find one that you can get these parts from.

I agree. I live in the mountains of Ga and there's not a lot of resources here other than Atlanta 80 miles to the south. I'll start looking . Thanks for your replies and help.

I remember seeing somewhere about the bolt circle being smaller than a standard Ford. It seems like standard Ford converters have a 10-1/2 bolt cirlce whereas the II has a 9-7/8 or 9-3/4 bolt circle. I'll have to search again and see if I can find it - seems like it would be pretty useful, especially right now.
