2019 GT Line lock

Can't get the line lock to engage. It says its engaged but its not. I go through the process , get into the screen press the pedal down hard, it says engaged but the front brakes just release if you let your foot of the pedal. It wont hold. Any thoughts

I never tried the line lock on my 2019 GT PP1. May have to see now.

Its really a stupid system, what should be a simple on off switch , some moron engineer had to complicate everything to the point where its unreliable. I have read the manual, read 10 you tube posts mine simply does not work. Sometimes engineers need to just STOP over engineering.

I don't have a '19 or later so this is part speculation:

Do you have a code reader that can scan/read the ABS unit in the car? If it's a solenoid failure, there should be a fault code in that system. In know FORScan can do this too but not sure how prolific that is.

There are others here that know a lot more about this portion. ^^


Also: Just to be sure, are you pressing hard enough on the brake pedal when you go to set it?

No i don't have a code reader, but i will try source one. As far as pressing on the brake i am pressing so hard I am afraid the pedal shaft may break, i mean literally standing on it.
