Where would you mount the fronts to? The control arm pockets are designed for the load already and like 95 said all you need is some delrin or poly bushings to eliminate the flex there. I also agree there's not really a need to fix that "problem"....

All just depends on how much work you want to go through. I’m sure you could get poly or even solid bushings to use in the front. Why fix what ain’t broke?

Yeah Nick, you’re probably right.

I‘ll have to wait to see what I want to do for right now, it’s been raining every day for the past few days and is supposed to up to Friday. This weekend sounds like it might be good though.

I’ll get started on the hard tail and decide if all the trouble is worth it on the front.

Ok, Allen started posting about things related to a fox body that’s his……..damnit………guess I should do something, huh?

So it seems the best I’ve done for Booger over the last two and a half years is to light a small fire under his ass and pat him affectionately periodically to let him know I haven’t forgotten him.

I finally got my middle son on his own about three weeks ago. He’s got his own apartment and everything. I’m actually quite proud of him for doing this. he’s come a long way from his drug rehab days.

All that said for this. I‘m now a real “empty nester”. It’s just me and that stupid ing cat.

I’ve tried cooking lots of new things for entertainment. That was ok for awhile.

This weekend has been an absolute festival of boredom though for me. What has become of my life? What am I supposed to do now?……..I’m such a moron.

Take your time to recover, do what you want to and figure out what’s next. Work on your car and other hobbies, keep an eye on your kids, watch sports or go to concerts, find a service group or club (Rotary, Lions, local car club, etc).

Do not date for a while or just work, work and drink.

You probably need more than one to make sure the effect isn't temporary.

It works well here, but not so much on forums that are more time sensitive like sports.

Sooooo……I’m still alive.

Lots of things have been happening.

I have some goals now, lol. First is to have Booger‘s suspension work all done along with all undercarriage work by this coming summer.

I got my boss’s approval to bring Booger to work this summer to begin the bodywork.

So, as soon as I finish the undercarriage stuff, to include a MM kmember and suspension, it’s off to the shop.

All I need is some warm weather to go back to grinding, welding, etc…..

I think I’ve mentioned that I’m going to undercoat Booger with Bedliner.

I know I’ve cried wolf a few times, but I feel good about getting back to work on the project. I’m getting past the divorce finally, it turned a little uglier than I thought it would. But it’s getting behind me finally. Chicks can make things really hard if they’re inspired……..

I found something that you should try:

Amazon product ASIN B000994BUWView: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000994BUW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Pickup just one can and spray it over some silver base.

Pics don't do it justice but I'll leave this here:

It's a candy coat that looks like a baked on ceramic when it's cured.

(blow up the pics to get closer)
Front and rear wheels have a silver base. The lines on the front wheels are deliberate. It's just white primer.

It turns the silver a booger green and the white a [school bus metalic pearl]

Oh and here's some metallic brown that I invented:

Notice the "I've had too much citrus" and wiped for hours, tinge along with the bold texture of metal.

I mean, this is a color that precedes a medical appointment. It really glistens in the sun.

I think you would like the effect. I'm still experimenting with it too. They have other colors I haven't tried yet.

Easiest candy-coat I ever heard about.

Glad to see you're back at it, well closer anyway.
Divorce is sad enough without the other side ratcheting up the intensity. I had to make some extreme moves to stay steady.
Enough whining, now get to work
