‘83 T-top Coupe - It’s Too Cold

I still like Pabst Blue Ribbon from a keg.

I [think] I heard somewhere that it only comes that way? I can't recall for sure and don't recall ever looking for it outside of a bar.

A couple of weeks ago the wife and I had a date night. Dinner and a show. At dinner, I tried a draft lager from a local brewery. My, oh my was it delicious!

My current favorite is Negro Modelo.

The trouble is that to make it my favorite, I have to buy it and store it somewhere dark for 2-ish+ years.

I stumbled on it purely on accident when I left a case packed in a camper and forgot about it. When I found it, it had been so long that I was a little scared to drink it.

It sat... Until a friend came to visit from work one day. What the hell? It ended up being amazing. A lot different from how it comes off the shelf.

You’re a sick man Noobz…….

Good memory Dave! Been busy down here in Plano but no work done on the Stang. Life has been in the way.

If you're ever in the DFW area let's get a burger.
Yeah, that was nice last time. Have to roust Nick out of hibernation too. John moved off to Arkansas, so he’s out.

He was asked to leave the island........
When you’re asked to leave the island of misfit toys, you’re either a fixed toy, or one doesn’t play well with the other damaged toys.

Just seems like knowing we’re all a little fcked up helps to keep most toys in the toy box.

Oh well, we’ll all miss moments like these though, am I right?

I was swigging this straight from the bottle last night. After 24”+ of snow….I needed it

Not a fan

I have never tried the GL 12 Illicit still. Currently I have the 14, 15, and the Nadurra. I’ve also had the 12, Founders Reserve, Caribbean, and the 18. Of all of The Glenlivet the 15 is my top choice.

Save your cash. Not worth it. My opinion Founders Reserve is the best bang for the buck for casual drinking.

15 is great. Perfect balance of cost vs quality.

I have a bottle of the 25 and it is just incredibly strong and rich. When you pour a glass you can smell it 3 rooms away.

100% agree on the 15.

Do you think the 25 is worth the money?

I also like Monkey Shoulder, Glenmoragie 10 & 12 for casual drinking.

If you are a scotch enthusiast, then I would say you should splurge once. It’s a very unique, rich taste, but not one id go for more than once really. It’s very Woody and has strong aroma

Comes in a nice display. It was hard to find in my area and I actually ended up getting it for less than retail after a good chunk of time searching.

I told my buddies that I’ll keep the bottle and case when this is done and just buy a bottle of 15 and pour it in.

Current lineup (not including the illicit). While I’m a Glen fan, I’ll drink any of the major scotch brands.

I’d love to try a Macallen 25 one day.

Hijacking Dave’s thread but I know he’s a Glen guy too.
