04 OEM Carbon FIber Hood??

Hi guys I need someone with SVT Parts expertise. I have a guy claiming the Black 04 Cobra's came factory with a Carbon fiber hood. The local dealer says it never happened. Can anyone shed light on this? Did it or no and if it did anyone have a part #? Much thanks in advance!

The dealer is right.

Our hoods (03/04 Cobra's) are made out of what Ford described as a lightweight composite material, but it certainly isn't carbon fiber! Our trunk is made of this same material. Not sure how much weight savings there is though...

well theres a pic of a cracked 03 stock hood on the classifieds and it clearly looks like fiberglass to me
