Well, getting ready to have some work done on my stock motor. Probably a good time to do an HCI replacement at the same time.

I am leaning towards Edelbrock Perfomer 5.0 (H, C, and I).
Just about everyone else uses 2.02 on the intake side of the heads (Trickflow, Holley, etc)
What are the pro's/con's of 1.90 vs 2.02 valves? (gas mileage, power, wear, etc)

I am looking to increase my upper end but still have a street car.
It's an 89 Vert with 150k (or so) on it if that helps.

Thoughts?

thanks

Trick Flow is the only aftermarket manufacturer I'm aware off that allows you to run a 2.02 intake valve with stock pistons because of their canted valves. With inline valves, you'll usually run into PTV clearance issues.

If you want to keep the car streetable and make power get yourself a set of AFR 165 street heads with a better intake Cobra, or TFS and leave the stock cam in place. They dropped 1.5 seconds off a 95 GT with the stock cam in place (can you say sleeper) check out the website!!!!!! Oh and they have a 1.94 valve
