Just throwin it out there... are 12's possible without a true "powershift" with either street tires or if i have to... bfg d/r's. with these mods as well... trick flow 185 cc alum heads, t/f track heat intake, 1.6's, o/r h pipe. pro 5.0, march u/d pullies,K&N, 70 mm t/b and MAF with 24# injectors. 3.73's with stock trac loc rebuilt. tweecer, and a big enough cam to produce 300+ rwhp emmissions legal in MA (obv with stock cat pipe back in for that) pro 5.0 and King Cobra. oh heres the kicker... 94 vert with only minimum weight reduction(stock cat pipe replaced, alum heads, and maybe seat removal) and 150lb driver with stock-style rear suspension i just dont wanna get my hopes and savings up for something thats unattainable this winter...no juice! as i get back to my 30 pages of papers for umass i expect to come back with a full report on my desk by Friday! haha j/k Thanks, Kyle

any other thoughts? i was almost hopin' killer would hold out on his response since he is serious proof it can be done haha... but his shifting is from some other planet, and i thiought u had some other weight reduction done as well? (k member) plus suspension etc. I know its a lot about the driver, but lets just say i would consider mild bolt on mach 1's and ls1's something i could hit 12's with, would it be comparable or do-able in that sense? i know im pushin some pounds compared to them... but at least i like what i hear so far!

I went the 12.33 on my nitto's with the stock K member and such in place and a 12.19 on ET streets with the stock K member. I did have the pass. seat yanked though, but then again I have a 45lb body kit and chrome roll bar in the car which defintiely outweigh the seat, so it'd be comparable.

nice, now i've got something to shoot for this upcoming winter/year. the only reason why i'd be using bfg's is because my buddy with a 90 hatch is running them and has a spare set to use for the track... i think he is pickin up a set of m/t's though so we'll see if he lets me use them, then again, i dont need to absolutley destroy my t-5 just yet so with that kind of power, i will not get any clutch more aggressive than the k/c unless it slips, and i would rather hit the 12's without even using d/r's. the tires i run right now are bfg g-force sport 255-40 R 17's. i dont know if any one has cut any decent times with them that u can share about? (decent for a street tire obv.)
