17by9 rims fit on fox body without mods??

I am about to order cobra's for my 92 mustang and I was wondering if I would have any mods to perform if I went with the 17by9's. Will their be any fender rubbing or steering probs?

they fit fine, i had them on with 275/225's no rubbing at all. go for it

I have 17x9s on my 86 GT all the way around w/ 245/45s in front and 275/40s in the back. I don't have any problems w/ rubbing or steering

I'm running 245/45/17 and 275/40/17.. had to flip the quads and I still get rubbing up front at full lock.

I run 03 cobras 17x9's on my 92 with 275/40/17 on the rear- those are fine, the 245/45/17 I am having some problems with rubbing on the inner side, I think it is my a arm it is hitting not sure. Little tight on a full turn also.

I went with the 17x8's on the front and 17x9s in the back on my 90. I have 255/40x17's all the way around and adsolutely no rudding problems. Didnt have to roll the lips or flip the quads.

Damn you had 225's on a 17x9? I have 235's in the front and it looks too small.

I would never put a tire smaller than a 255 on a 9" rim.

Stating the rim size is nice and all but any clue as to what backspacings and offsets work for sure?
