I curbed the crap out of my stock bullitts. I am thinking about getting a set of 18" FR-500 wheels but I am worried about them rubing. My 02 GT is lowered with H&R springs and the ride isn't the greatest with Nitto 17" 245 by 45. What can I expect with the 18's and probably 35 high tires? Will I need to adjust my speed o?

Any experience is appreciated....

I would just replace my two rims with stock bullitts. but apparently 02 rims are hard to find...

lol i got 2 extra 02' stock wheels..., but one of them has a lil curb rash as well. as far as rubbing with the 18s shouldnt rub if they are the same width.

Agreed, depending on the brand of tire,i've seen 295/35/18's or 305 35/18's,and 305/40/18's,also with a little messaging with the fender lip,315's were fitted out back on a 18X10.
I know i plan to go 305/35/18 Nitto Drag radials to replace my sumo II's that are 285/35/18's which really don't look right. They don't have that full look on a 18X10 rim in my opinion.

Eibach Pro Kit here with Saleen 18x9/10's. BFG KDW2's 255/40/18 front & 295/35/18 with 0 issues rubbing. I went with the 255 front as opposed to 265's because a narrower tire is less likely to "railroad" down the road. The 255's follow the road ruts pretty good every now and again. It screws with me on occasion if I haven't driven the stang in a while.

Here were my 17 Cobra R's for comparison. Can hardly tell any difference.
