Rusty - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! For posting how the vent windows didn't fit. With my level of inexperience, I didn't give it the first thought that the vent window wouldn't have fit. Well, guess what? Mine didn't fit either... took some major minor surgery to get them right, still not perfect, but I think they will work. Driver side was so bad, it even changed the alignment of the door, I will have to touch up the body filler on back edge of door wear it feathers into the rear quarter. If I would have had to do that after paint, I would have had to get the doors repainted and I would have been livid! Again, THANK YOU!

To the OP. Do you forward all this stuff to Dynacorn? They should fix these problems before the sell one more of these bodies. I can understand a problem or two, but these issues you have posted are on the line of unaceptable for the cost of these mustang bodies.

Read all about the under dash hood release install in an upcoming issue of Modified Mustangs & Fords magazine.

The rear valance had a tack weld and also bolts.

DSCN4026.webp

Instead of studs on the valance Dynacorn used 2 different size bolts and washers from inside the trunk and attached to clips on the valance

DSCN4029.webp

We wanted to take off the rear valance to see what was behind it and just as I thought bare metal and surface rust

So after a long hiatus from the Mustang community, I'm finally coming back. I bought a 67 fastback a couple months ago and I have to follow this thread! My car is going to need much rust repair, but I'll enjoy following this build because I've always been curious about these car bodies. Badass so far, and whoever said "that's why we're here, to learn!" hit the nail on the head. I can't tell you how much I learned about cars back in the day (7-10 years ago) on THIS site!
