The body was wet sanded with 1000,1500,2000,2500.



One side is buffed still needs to be polished

Brian is polishing the body so we can get the sheetmetal back on. It takes up a lot of room in the shop when you have everything on stands.

thats pretty! that big hole under the intake, is perfect fore rat nest.
i have to pull them out of my 2000 f150 every now and then.

Over the weekend we fit a few things on the engine and installed the AOD transmission.

I like the subframe connectors, did you fab them or get them from a supplier?

I bought those a long time ago from Chassis Engineering

I got a set of Flowtech headers for a 96 Mustang they fit the right side great



One pipe fits the left side the rest we will have to make because of the steering and they hit the frame.

Jared (Current Performance Wiring) has a shop close to mine said he could build the header but thought he had a lot of 1 5/8" bends but only had enough to build one tube today.

I love how you have a 4.6l in there....and still have room! Cutting out those shock towers adds a lot of room. I just cut mine out today for a 351c. I love this build! Will be watching.

BTW, what is your opinion on the R&C kits? I am installing one at the moment.

I'm very happy with Rod & Custom kits I think they are the easiest to install we have finished three and have one under construction.
