This build started to be a magazine project by never got off the ground. The concept was to build a Mustang for canyon carving, track day and autocross events. The engine and transmission (5-speed) have been taken out of the car (which is a low mileage 24k vehicle with a straight, dentless body) and all new aftermarket parts acquired. They include a Crane hydraulic roller cam and lifters, aluminum roller rocker arms, Ross forged aluminum pistons, ATI Super Damper, rebuilt rods with ARP bolts, balanced crank assembly and lots more. Also included is about 5k worth of Griggs Racing suspension components that includes new Koni coil-overs, Watts linkage, control arms, camber plates, etc. $5,000 takes it all.
