Hello all, A little introduction.

When I was 13, my dad bought my sister a GT 5.0 convertible with rear interior that was Mint and had glass pack son it. That car has stuck in my head for years as the car I wished I could have had. As luck would have it my sister didn't like it and my dad sold it before I could get my hands on it.

fast forward to today. I am 33 and can buy my own cars LOL. I was in the process of building a pro touring 74 challenger when I had to stop and re calibrate. I had 10k in it as a rolling chassis and still lacked somewhere around 15k to get it drivable with the stroker and 5 speed I wanted to convert it to. The same day I was thinking about selling it to my dad who has wanted it since I bought it this crappy 89 LX popped up on craigslist. the rest is history.

Here is the way I received it.

Shortly after getting it I installed an SVE aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and thermostat controller, threw some slicks on it because it has a spool and 4.10 gears and I could not get any traction in first gear. then I took it to the track to get a baseline. best run 14.59 @ 95mph with a 2.07 60'

Ordered an Accufab TB and also a megasquirt for it. Should be a fun vehicle to learn to tune on.

The reason behind the name "Cobra Kai" is because when my 9 year old saw it he said "It looks like something that would be on Karate Kid" and my wife who hates foxbody's said "Yeah something the bad guys would drive" LOL
