1997 GT vs. 2004 GT

1.96 60ft.

car has mid pipe, catback, CAI, u/d pulley's, PI intake, 3.73's, centerforce DF clutch, fidanza AL flywheel. pro 50 shifter, and nitto drags.

car also just had a top to bottom complete tune up this week also so its running real good.

pretty good. You should be able to knock a few tenths off that with a little more seat time. Way to beat up on the PI car!

i have pi cams, but no aluminum flywheel and street tires, the best i could do was a 14.1 w/ 2.07 60' but i was having trouble on the 2-3 shift

That was a drivers race indeed. Its a good thing you had tires. It looks like Brian (bhuff30) called it. :nice: Outcome aside, the PI car still seems to be putting out the majority of the power between the two. My guess is that we'd be hearing a different outcome if the shoe was on the other foot, so to speak. ;)

What was your buddies 60ft time by chance?

Congrats on the strong run and actually glad I predicted wrong. Watch out as he might look to get back at you with some mods, so be prepared for next time with the same good driving and maybe some mods of your own.
