Ran it without the pressure plate. Vibration is gone. Going to pick up a new pressure plate and pins. Any recommendations where to find flywheel pins?

Most of the flywheels I have seen have them in them. I just looked at a number on rockauto and all the pics I saw had them. None of the listings said they had them, just see them in the pics.

I run these, although I substituted the bolts for ARP hardware.

Picked up the clutch kit from O'Reillys. The $125 special . Now I just need the pins... No Ford dealer has them within an hour or two from me. Would it be worth just buying a whole new flywheel with pins preinstalled? How does my original flywheel look?

I would resurface that, or depending on the cost of resurfacing, chuck it in the scrap bin and buy a new one.

I ordered two new Ford flywheels and neither one came with pins.

It looks like it got plenty of heat and abuse. The flywheel needs surfaced if you want the new clutch not to chatter and last longer.

I'm going to have to buy a new flywheel. Original is a 10 inch 81-85 flywheel with the older bolt pattern. New clutch/pressure plate is for the 10.5 inch newer pattern.

They are inexpensive. Replacing it is a good idea while you have it all apart.

All back together and running. Vibration is gone! Even got a chance to replace my leaky rear main. Thanks everyone for all the replies and help.
