I have a 82 or 83 5.0 and a 5.0 police interceptor. I was told that the electronic fuel injected 5.0 PI will not work for my car because of the firing order. What can i do to solve this?
I don't understand the question here. is this an 82 or 83?
What is a "fuel injected 5.0 PI"? Is this an 82 with a 4.2L "5.0"? If so, and don't quote me but, I don't think any of the Police Interceptors came with the 256 "5.0". They only came with the 302.
If that is not the case, we have some SSP experts running around this forum that should provide more clarity.
By the way... There are almost no good reasons to put a Windsor motor into 2002, if that's the real question: Stick with a 2 valve modular. You can make more power than you will ever need with that and a little boost.
